Milford Rail crossing

There have been a few recent reports from drivers using Station Lane that the rail crossing gates at Milford Station are unreliable.  At least two incidents have been noted in the last few days where trains have crossed the level crossing whist the automatic barriers were up.  Network Rail are investigating.  Please be aware.

Witley Parish Council are obviously very concerned about the reports of issues at the Milford level crossing. After the incident on 2 July 2019 we made contact with the Route Level Crossing Manager at Network Rail, who conducted a thorough investigation and concluded that the barriers had functioned correctly on that day.
