The funeral of Muriel Campbell (see previous news item) is to be live streamed by Hambledon Church so that that those unable to attend in person can still view the proceedings, providing they have internet access.

Those attending at St Peter’s, Church Lane, on Thursday are asked to wear a protective mask and to have obtained a negative lateral flow test result on the morning of the service, in line with current Covid-19 requirements which can be found on the Busbridge and Hambledon Churches website here – https://www.bhcgodalming.org/notices. Please scroll down to find the relevant section.
The service is expected to be well attended and the Campbell family has already asked for villagers to walk to the church if they can, or to share lifts. There will be additional parking, and please look our for younger family members who will be on hand to give directions.
- Please note: There are various road closures currently in place, in and around the village. Hambledon Road is currently closed between Hydestile Crossroads and Feathercombe Lane, but access is possible from the opposite end of the village at Lane End, off the Petworth Road. Vann Lane is closed near to Roundalls. Further afield, Dunsfold Road is closed so there is no access from the A281 at the Nanhurst crossroads.
