UPDATE 22 December 2021
Thanks to all those who came along to the open air Carol Service in the churchyard on Sunday. You can watch the service on YouTube.
In light of the current situation and increased risk from Covid, the Associate Minister, Rev Simon Willetts and the church wardens have taken the regrettable decision to cancel Midnight Communion this year. The popular Christmas Eve Crib Service and Christmas Day service will go ahead in the churchyard. Please dress warmly, and be prepared for wet weather. Services will go ahead in drizzle, but not torrential rain, so please check this page for any change to the following plan.
CANCELLED – 12 noon Carols at the Village Shop
4pm Crib Service – NOW OPEN AIR in the churchyard
CANCELLED – 11pm Midnight Communion
10am Family Celebration, followed by a short communion – NOW OPEN AIR in the churchyard
Christmas jumpers and hats encouraged!
Those attending at St Peter’s, Church Lane, on Thursday are asked to wear a protective mask and to have obtained a negative lateral flow test result on the morning of the service, in line with current Covid-19 requirements which can be found on the Busbridge and Hambledon Churches website here – https://www.bhcgodalming.org/notices. Please scroll down to find the relevant section.
FACE COVERINGS ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED IN ALL INDOOR CHURCH SERVICES. REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED OUTSIDE.

YOU MAY NEED A TORCH FOR SERVICES AFTER DARK. Please consider using this car park to avoid congestion, particularly for the Carol Service on 19 December, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
