Photo Competition 2020

Here is a challenge and maybe a slight relief from the lockdown – a photography competition. It is open to all Hambledonians, young or old. The photographic subjects are broad but offer a creative challenge within the constraints of living in a lockdown world. So be creative and submit your best photographs to our competition.

Inside: Take a photograph inside your home. It can be of any subject so use the restriction of being inside as an impetus for some imaginative photography – maybe macro, or abstract, with innovative editing or creative use of light.

Outside: Take a photograph outside but in Hambledon or within a mile of the Parish. It can be of any subject. Photographs should only be taken whilst adhering to the social distancing rules.

  • You may submit upto 3 photographs per category.
  • The competition is open to residents living of the Parish or within a mile of the boundary.
  • All photos must be your own work, and must have been taken since March 10th 2020.
  • Photos can be enhanced in Photoshop or photo software
  • Photos must be taken in Hambledon or within a mile of the Parish boundary
  • You should get the permission of any persons featured.
  • Photographs should only be taken whilst adhering to the social distancing rules.
  • Anyone can vote for their favourites but you can’t vote for the same photo more than once, nor for your own photos. Maximum 6 votes per person.
  • Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion.
