Solution: I have resized the photo. One was too large a file (700kb) - 500kb is limit. The other was too big a dimension - 2000 x 3000 pixels. The dimensions should be a maximum of 600 x 600 pixels.

As for software to do this with - Windows should do it with Windows photo manager (or similar name) but I am a not the best to advise.
Stewart and Philip use Photo Manager I believe but I can't be certain, and it should come with Windows XP and Vista... but may be hidden -search for Windows Photo manager or similar.

There should be a range of freeware out there that might do it too..but I don't know any to recommend...other than buying an Apple Mac, and then it is done for free in their software.
