Members of the Heritage Society Committee are more than willing to speak with Vilagers who are perhaps "A LITTLE SHY"...........we can take notes of your memories and share these at the meeting BUT we would prefer you to be in attendance even if you may not want to speak....

This event looks interesting. Is attendance open to everyone or open only to those with personal experiences to share with the group?

The AGM is open to all!!! We are seeking Villagers who have 1940's memories and don't feel too shy to address the audience............or if a little shy then I will take pre-meeting notes and be "thier voice" on the night........................if you are interested please come along and if you or you know others who have experiences and they are willing to share please let me know.

Are there any confirmed speakers for this event yet?

YES WE HAVE SEVERAL GREAT PEOPLE ATTENDING.

I am pleased to confirm that we have at least 12 Hambledonians who were in the village during the 1940's are are joining us the AGM.

We also have a fantastic collection of WWII memorabilia................this will be a fascinating evening with some really great people who are willing to share their memories, observations, thoughts and opinions.

The Hambledon NAAFI will be open too.
