The Village Trust is keen to recruit a volunteer to assist with this website.
Currently the site is edited and overseen by myself with content contributions from a small web committee team. It would be useful to have one more member on the team who is "web literate" and who would like to stand-in for me, initially when I am unable to attend to the occasional tweaks to the content and design of the site. It is not an onerous task - maybe 2 or 3 hours a month- merely ensuring the new material added to the site gets put into the template appropriately, adding images, and dealing with technical questions from Villagers wishing to use the site. On a more irregular basis we might need to create a few banner graphics, add extra pages for clubs and societies and re-jig some of the content. It is an opportunity to be creative and steer a growing community resource.

Ideally we are looking for someone who is familiar with web forums, and confident working on the web (the site works entirely online using Joomla Templates ). It does not require you to be a web-designer (I am not a web designer) Whilst it would be ideal if you have worked with Joomla in the past, it is not essential as specific training will be given.
