New service for Village Milkround |

 Dairy Crest is making available a new service to customers of its milk round in Hambledon which may make its doorstep deliveries more appealing to those who currently do not receive them. It is now possible to set up an on-line account, managing your deliveries, making alterations as late as 9pm the night before and cancelling your order when away. It is also possible to pay on-line. This flexibility removes the need for leaving notes and payments for the milkman.
Many people see environmental advantages to having milk delivered to the home. One vehicle delivers all the milk rather than individuals making separate journeys to shops, supermarkets and garage forecourts. Milk bottles are returnable and reuseable. Dairy Crest delivers to Hambledon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. From local experience the service is reliable and the milk is on the doorstep before 6am. A range of others goods are also available from the milkmen and these can be viewed and ordered on line.
