Photography Competition Winner Named Print

Congratulations to Philip Underwood - the winner of the first Hambledon Village Website photography competition.Philip entered some excellent images, particularly of wildlife. The web management team judged him to be a deserving winner, not just for his photographs but also for his guidance in helping others to put their pictures on the Photography Competition forum.In his role as voluntary Village Shop manager he has used the shop's internet facility to show others how to use the website. With his help some excellent photographs by Stephen Dean were entered. Philip has been presented with a silver photo frame by the Hambledon Village Trust. In future the competition will be judged on quarterly basis, at the end of March, June, September and December. There will be a single winner for a single image, although contributors are encouraged to enter as many photographs as they like. All photographs must be taken in or around Hambledon and can be on any subject.The Hambledon Village Trust continues to sponsor the competition and will present each quarterly winner with a £20 Hambledon Village Shop voucher.The Hambledon website management team and the Trust will judge the competition and winners will be announced on the website.Philip's photographs, together with others, can be found on the "forums" page, where a new thread has been established for the January to March competition. People of all ages are encouraged to take part. If you have any difficulties in placing your pictures on the forum please use the contact link to email a member of the web management team.
