Want to know what your local farm is producing and how it does it?  If so, come along to Burgate Farm's open afternoon and farm walk on Saturday 18 September at 3.00 pm.   Everyone is invited and there is no charge.

The farm entrance drive is in Vann Lane, on the left just beyond the Upper Vann Lane junction (and before you get to Vann).

The open afternoon is being organised as part of Surrey County Agricultural Society's "Farm and Food Week".  Burgate is farmed by Peter Knight and he will be showing his visitors the connection between what you see growing in the fields and the food we all eat.  The farm machinery wil also be on view;  and Peter will explain how GPS statellite technology is being used to make energy savings and help protect  the environment.
