It finally looks like we have some settled weather, just in time. Next weekends festivities kick off with the Village fete starting at 2:30pm on Saturday, the Village Show goes on during the same afternoon, followed by the Shop BBQ at 5:00pm and on Sunday the Church service will take place on the Cricket Green.

Fete preparations are ongoing, we could do with more cakes for the cake stall and bottles for the hoopla, if anyone can offer either, please drop them in at the Village Shop.
Prize draw tickets are now on sale at the Shop, lots of excellent prizes, £1 a ticket.

The Village Show

Don’t forget the Village Show takes place in the Village Hall this Saturday, 28 August, in conjunction with the Fete.

0930 – 1130 Entries

1400 – Re-opens (after judging) for viewing and tea

1600 – Prize-giving

1630 – End of Show

The Shop BBQ

Tickets are still available for the BBQ after the fete £10 for an adult and £5 for under 16’s gets you BBQ food and a dessert, plus live music entertainment. Buy tickets at the Village Shop or online at hambledonfestival.co.uk.
