Redundant office space at Witley Station is being made available as a base for a local community group or charity and any organisation interested is invited to submit a proposal.

The space is within the main building on Platform 2 and was once part of the station master’s house. It consists of a single ground floor room and three office rooms on the first floor.

The rooms are being offered at a peppercorn rent, initially to August 2024, although a longer term may be available. No sub-letting is allowed.

Network Rail, the landlord, is interested in receiving expressions of interest and, in the first instance, these should include details of the organisation and a brief outline of how the premises would assist the group and the local community the railway serves. 

The scheme is being run by South Western Railway, the train operator, in partnership with the commercial estate consulting company Amey TPT.

SWR is interested to see what imaginative local projects could be brought to life from this space and it wants to hear from organisations in the local community that have great ideas to benefit their local area but are being held back because they have no base to operate from.
