The Hambledon Heritage Society AGM and presentation by their guest speaker was a big success last night at the village hall. It was standing room only. You can hear Stewart Payne’s talk in the video below.

An excellent presentation – particularly for those who have lived in the village a long time. I remember the the old crossing and barn into Salt Lane – and the Merry Harriers as it used to be. Also the old workhouse – thankfully changes have been managed carefully and Hambledon appears much the same.
