Hambledon Art Fair This weekend, Saturday Oct 4th and Sunday October 5th

Just to remind everyone of the return of our lovely Art Fair at the Village Hall this weekend. With paintings, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and photography there will be something for everyone and it might be the perfect opportunity to pick up an early (very early) Christmas present or two!

With teas and (proper) coffee and homemade cakes served all weekend we will be waiting to welcome you. Admission £2 for adults and free for under 16s.

The fair will be open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday

Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii – This Saturday at the Village Hall 7pm for 7.30

Don’t miss out on this unique and unconventional cinematic experience! Pink Floyd in early experimental days performing in the amphitheatre at Pompeii interspersed with film of the band rehearsing. It’ll be loud and it’ll be immersive!

Hambledon Village Cinema is pleased to present the classic 1972 rockumentary/concert film at the Village Hall on Saturday August 9th. Head back to the 60s/70s and see it on the big screen and enjoy the full experience of our sound system!

Hambledon Village Quiz – Saturday, April 26th

Don’t miss out on tickets for the fantastic Hambledon Village Quiz at the Village Hall on Saturday April 26th. We’ve got our usual and brilliant quiz master Bill Dann and a raffle with great prizes.

Doors and our very reasonably-priced bar open at 7.30n and the quiz starts at 8pm.

No meal this time but crisps etc will be available at the bar.

Tickets £10 each (tables of six people) are available at the Village Shop so buy yours soon to avoid disappointment. This is always a sell-out!

Hambledon Cinema Presents ‘Dream Horse’. Saturday, February 22nd

Starring Toni Collette and Damian Lewis, Dream Horse is the true story of a group of ordinary people from a Welsh village who decide to club together to breed a race horse despite having no experience. It’s a feelgood amusing story for a February evening which gets great reviews on the review site Rotten Tomatoes and The Guardian calls ‘A Winner’.

Doors and our extremely reasonably-priced bar open at 7pm and the film starts at 7.30pm.

First Film Night of the year, this Saturday at the Village Hall

Come along to the Village Hall for our first film of the year this Saturday, January 25th. We will be showing The Miracle Club, a heart-warming story following three generations of friends who have the dream of winning a pilgrimage trip to Lourdes. Starring Maggie Smith, Kathy Bates, Laura Linney and Stephen Rea. ‘A charming emotional rollercoaster… with stellar performances’ according to The Independent.

Muppet Christmas Carol Showing at the Village Hall

Get the festive season off to a very Christmassy start at the Village Hall on Sunday December 1st with our family Christmas film.

We will be showing the Muppet Christmas Carol which, if you haven’t seen it, is definitely the best version! True to the book, funny, great songs and it’s the Muppets!! Also, of course, Michael Caine as Scrooge! 2.30 for a 3pm start. Bring your children, your grandchildren and yourselves!
