Messy Church @ Hambledon Nursery School- 2nd July

Community Befriending Network

Busbridge and Hambledon Church run a Community Befriending Network; linking up those who might be feeling lonely or isolated with others who can visit, chat, drink tea or coffee….!
There is a real need for more befriending volunteers in or near Hambledon, so if you could spare one or two hours a month to visit someone, then do please get in touch with Penny Naylor on 01483 421267, or at penny.naylor@bhcgodalming.org, for more details. There is training and support available for all our volunteers and no requirement to be a member of any church.
Many thanks.
Messy Church at Hambledon this Sunday!
St Peter’s Services Coming Up
Just a reminder that there are some differences in our services at Hambledon Church over the next couple of Sundays…
This Sunday – 2nd April – there is no 9.00am service. We have our All Age family service at 10.30am and then a special choral Evensong service at 3.30pm to mark the beginning of Passiontide; that time in the Church calendar where we begin to focus of the events leading up to that first Easter.
The following Sunday – 9th April – is Palm Sunday. There will be only one combined service at 10.00am, followed by a walk down to Village Shop. Do join us.
Coming up at Hambledon Church….
Thanksgiving Service for Patrick Hill
Just a quick correction to the details for the service in commemoration of Patrick Hill, which were noted in an article in this month’s Village Mag.
The service will be at St Peter’s Hambledon on Friday 10th March at 12 noon and not at St Peter & St Paul’s.
If you know anyone who might be planning to come, do pass the message on.
Remembrance Sunday Service
All are welcome to this special service, where we remember those from Hambledon who have given their lives in service to our country and those still affected by war and conflict.
During this service we read out the names on our war memorials and observe a 2 minute silence.
Join us at 10.30am on Sunday 13th November at Hambledon Church.
