The co-option process to appoint a new Hambledon parish councillor is now underway.
The vacancy follows the retirement of John Anderson. The next scheduled elections for local councils are not until May 2023 and with no formal call for a by-election to be held, Hambledon Parish Council must now select a new member by co-option.
If you live in or close to the village and feel you have something to offer your local community, please consider putting your name forward. Parish councillors are not paid and do not represent any political party. They give their time to work with and on behalf of the village and its residents.
