Waverley Ward Council Elections -Vote at Hambledon Village Hall Tomorrow (Thursday)

Local Government elections take places in many parts of the UK tomorrow (Thurs May 4th), including in Hambledon. For the first time, you will need to produce photo-identification in order to vote.

Polling is for those candidates seeking to be elected to serve as Ward councillors on Waverley Borough Council. Seats on Hambledon Parish Council are uncontested.

Due to boundary changes, Hambledon is now part of a new Ward called Bramley and Wonersh. This Ward will return three councillors to represent our area on Waverley. Eight prospective councillors are standing. See below.

Polling takes place at Hambledon Village Hall between 7am and 10pm. Acceptable documents to provide photo-identity include

  • Passport
  • Driving licence (including provisional licence)
  • Blue Badge
  • An older persons bus pass
  • A disabled persons bus pass
