10.30am today, Wednesday morning and Hambledon was blocked to traffic for 30 minutes as a coach came head to head with the local bus, a lorry, a pony and trap, and a growing queue of cars travelling towards Witley.  Controlled chaos in a very British way ensued – with the coach backing up 500 yards and coaxed into Woodlands to allow others to find a way past.  GPS and poor signage at Milford has a lot to answer for.
